Poovar is a small coastal village in the Trivandrum district of Kerala. This village is almost at the southern tip of Kerala. This village has a beautiful beach which attracts tourists. There are also some good tourist resorts.

Guest can take a speed boat from the jetty to the hotel and make the check inn through the boat so it gives the place a Island type of feeling. The beach is right across the popolar hotels and being a small place tourist can enjoy and relax on the beach.
